Everything seems to be falling into place. For the past year, since high school graduation, things have been... well... not great. Even having successfully completed my 1st year of university, I still didn't feel like I had accomplished much. To be quite honest, the last year has been the toughest. I'm not sure if it was strictly because of the transition from high school to post secondary or if it just wasn't my year. Everything just seemed to be falling apart, and I was lost, confused, and quite frankly, I was beginning to lose hope.

What I do know now is that when you feel like nothing is going your way, the only way you could go is UP. It just takes hard work, patience, time, and a little bit of luck. I was lucky enough to come across a newspaper ad directed at college students for job openings at Vector Marketing, a very successul multi million dollar company that recruits people oriented college students as sales representatives. After an hour presentation, and an hour interview, I was informed that I was officially a part of the team. For the first time in a whole year, I finally felt that my hard work had paid off.

The way I see it, this past year has been a mere reminder that even though change is inevitable, everything will be okay. Just so long as I believe in myself and carry myself with confidence and professionalism, plenty of opportunities will arise, and many doors will begin to open. All I have to do then, is walk through them.

Yeah, I know shit brings you down sometimes... but just think to yourself that LIFE alone is such a great gift. Don't take it to hard on yourself.
